Yes, we had Texas A&M as significant underdogs in their match. Four of the biggest upsets come in the MAC, and three of those in the midweek fixtures.

Title game competitors, and those with a * are certain to make it.

AA - UCF* - Houston
AC - Clemson* - Pittsburgh*
BT - Oklahoma* - Texas
BX - Ohio Prov - Northwestern*
CU - UAB* - Florida International*
MA - Buffalo - Northern Illinois*
MW - Utah Prov* - Fresno St*
PX - Washington Prov - Utah*
SB - Troy* - Arkansas Prov
SE - Alabama* - Georgia*

Clemson now know their opponents for the title mismatch, and we can put it down as their 13th match. That near certain win advances their case, as does Pittsburgh's very strong opposition (Notre Dame and Penn Province are extra second-order matches), and they regain their place as the number one side. The margin is small, about a third of a game; third-place Georgia are almost a full game back from Clemson.

01 Clemson [+2]
02 Alabama [-1]
03 Georgia [-1]
04 Notre Dame [nc]
05 Michigan [nc]
06 Oklahoma [nc]
07 UCF [+2]
08 LSU [-1]
09 Ohio Province [-1]
10 Washington Province [nc]
11 Florida [+1]
12 Fresno State [+14]
13 Kentucky [+10]
14 Utah Province [+4]
15 Army [-1]

Fresno St and Utah Prov get bonuses from their title game; Fresno also knocked off the very decent San Diego St. Kentucky's wild advance comes in part from all the SE teams winning, and from their own very comfortable win against Middle Tennessee St, and from a number of sides ranked above them falling sharply. With their win, and extra game, Pittsburgh climb 14 places to 18.

The eight-team play-off swaps Clemson and Alabama's opponents.

Clemson - Washington Prov
Alabama - UCF
Notre Dame - Georgia
Michigan - Oklahoma
